What is Thermoplast V37?
Thermoplast V37 is a revolutionary method of painless,
effortless and permanent removal of body fat & cellulite.
What does it do?
It melts body fat
How does it work?
Four Pods are applied to the body's fat area. Each
pod emits low level radio waves that penetrate through the skin to the
area of fat, approximately 2cm under the epidermis. The fat cells then
expand and release their content of liquefied fat and water into the body's
Lymphatic System which would have been activated by the slight raise in
temperature in the fat layer. Liquefied fat then passes through the body
in small amounts and gets either used by the body or excreted naturally.
Is it safe?
Thermoplast uses low power radio waves, the type we
are exposed to every day from various sources such as TV and radio signals,
radio telecommunications and even the sun.
How long does the treatment last?
Each session lasts 30 minutes
How many treatments are necessary to obtain a
result?
Results are obtained from the first session, although
an average of 12-15 sessions is recommended to obtain stable results.
What is the average loss obtained after 1 session?
The average loss is around 2-4 cm from the waist in
the first session although an 8-cm loss has been achieved on one client.
(The client suffered from obesity.)
What is the average loss after a full course?
Depending on how much fat one has to lose and depending
on the type of fat, tests conducted on 150 people in France gave a statistical
result of anything from 5 to 10 cm loss around the waist and 2 to 4 cm
around the thighs.
How long do the results last? Will fat return?
The fat that has been removed will not return. Results
are permanent. The fat which is melted is either used by the body or excreted
naturally and will not come back. Nevertheless, new fat may develop if
you overeat and do not maintain a sensible eating pattern (i.e. daily
calorie intake must not be more than calories used each day).
Is diet necessary for it to work?
No diet is necessary but it is recommended that the daily intake of calories
is less than or the same as the daily calorie use by the body.
How often can I have the treatment?
Treatments should be no more regular than every other
day.
Will it work for me as I have large amounts of stubborn
fat areas?
Yes it will work, although some areas of fat are more
difficult than others to remove. Therefore, and even though it does work
on large amounts of stubborn fat areas, the results can vary depending
on the type, age and quantity of fat stored.
How much does a treatment cost?
The recommended treatment price varies between £75
and £100 per session. Courses are available at reduced prices.
Will I lose weight if I take a course of Thermoplast?
Thermoplast is not a weight loss system, it is a slimming
method. Weight loss can be achieved by maintaining a balanced diet and
combining this with a thermoplast course for quick and efficient results.
Thermoplast can also, in some cases, be of help to a diet as some clients
have reported a lessening of appetite following treatment.
How does Thermoplast compare to lipo-suction which also
permanently removes fat?
Lipo-suction is major surgery, which consists of hoovering
away the fat cells themselves. Consequences are usually severe bruising
around the treated area; a disrupted vein network under the epidermis
and the skin can be left uneven. With he Thermoplast fat cells are not
removed, they are just emptied of their fat and water content through
a slow and non-aggressive procedure.
What is different about the Thermoplast as compared
to Endermology?
Thermoplast is a scientific action on the fat whereas Endermology has
a mechanical/massaging action. The therapist may well recommend a combination
type solution for the problem; areas as results achieved are monitored
during any course and amendments made to any treatment protocols to achieve
the best results possible.
Can you have a liver overload of fat?
No, because only minute drops of fat are lost during
each treatment and the melted fat is brought to the liver in minute quantities
throughout the following 24 hours.
Can it cause skin ageing because of the heat?
No, because the rise in temperature only occurs under
the epidermis, in the fat layer targeted by the treatment.
On how many people has it been tested and for how long
and what were the results?
In the original trials in France, 150 people were tested
over a period of 3 years and only 4 people did not achieve results.
Why is the Body's lymphatic System activated using this
treatment?
Because one of the functions of the lymphatic system
is to act as a temperature regulator for the body and by raising the temperature
under the epidermis a reaction is caused which activates the lymphatic
system to bring the temperature down.
Is the treatment painful or unpleasant?
The treatment is a pleasant experience, which has been
likened to having a hot water bottle placed on the treatment area, It
is certainly possible to read a magazine or even have a quick siesta during
the 30 minute treatment.
Are there any contra-indications?
As with all treatments a list of contra indications
does apply, these would be discussed in a medical history prior to treatment.
Pregnancy, severe respiratory, heart, skin and /or terminal diseases are
the most prevalent ones.
