Treatment Advice for the Client

What is St. Tropez Air?

A specially formulated treatment to give a sunless tan using a spray via an airbrush. Application is quick, safe and easy giving a perfect, streakless, natural looking tan.

Preparation for Application.

If you have not used any of the St Tropez tanning products before, ensure you have a patch test in the days prior to application.

Do not wax or shave on the morning of the treatment.

It is preferable not to wear any type of perfume, deodorant, or aromatherapy oils, as these may affect the treatment.

The evening before your application you will need to exfoliate your whole body. Pay particular attention to dry areas of the body such as elbows and knees before moisturising with St Tropez body moisturiser.

The Application

The St Tropez air tan is applied using an airbrush to allow the product to be painted onto the body. The whole application process takes 20 – 25 minutes with the product drying onto the skin within 5 – 10 minutes.

Once leaving the Salon

The tan will start to develop 2 – 3 hours after application and continue to develop for up to 24 hours. Therefore it is preferable if you do not shower for up to 8 hours after the application.

Any product left on bed linen will wash out.

Do not take part in any activity which may cause perspiration during development time.

Maintaining you Tan

With correct aftercare your tan will last longer.

1. Moisturise daily with St Tropez body moisturiser, a hydrating body lotion containing l-tyrosine. This ingredient activates the melanin in the skin ensuring your tan lasts the longest possible time. Please note that some moisturisers will actually decrease your tan life.

2. Avoid exfoliating your skin until your tan has naturally worn off. Do not rub yourself rather pat yourself dry.

3. Avoid swimming pools, as the chlorine will bleach your tan.
